Wolf Demonstrates Leadership

June 24, 2010
Leesburg, VA - As reported in the Loudoun Independent Frank Wolf (R/C-District 10) has been working to improve transportation for nearly 30 years. By collaborating with local governments, Congressman Wolf has secured millions of dollars in state and federal funding to improve the quality of life for all residents of the Commonwealth.

Wolf is specifically helping communities combat congestion in our region's transportation system by lobbying VDOT and the Federal Highway Administration to improve traffic congestion and concerns in the 10th District. His proposal of a successful feasibility study of BRT (Bus Rapid Transit System) in the I-66 corridor is embraced as a way to ease traffic burdens. He recognizes that new and promising vehicles need to be explored as a way to cut down on the amount of time individuals spend on the road, giving them more time to be with families and enjoying a better quality of life.

Congressman Wolf continues to put emphasis on the growing transportation needs in our community. His focus on completing the 103-mile metro rail system and continued support of new transportation initiatives will ensure that residents of the commonwealth have a transportation system setting a benchmark for other communities across the nation.

Congressman Wolf works for you!
