Wolf To Host Job Fair

Congressman Frank Wolf will host a Career Fair in Leesburg on Thursday, July 29th. More than 40 federal agencies and private sector companies will be available from 10AM-1PM at Harper Park Middle School. This event is free and open to the public.

As area jobless rates continue to fluctuate, Congressman Wolf is holding the job fair to give residents the chance to find work. He also feels that any plan to help the job market should not add to the nation's deficit. Wolf believes it will continue to be another tough year for unemployed individuals. "Our manufacturing base is eroding and we have $13 trillion of debt. The deficit this year will be about $1.4 trillion and we're not creating new jobs, so overall, the economy is in deep, deep trouble, " said Rep. Wolf.

Wolf hosted two widely attended job and career fairs last year in the 10th District, including one with over 3,000 attendees.
