SUMMARY:BIED Society 2024 Fall Conference
DESCRIPTION:This year the Behavioral International Economic Development (BIED) Society has committed to getting their message to a larger audience through a new medium. The Society will be producing a Documentary on Veteran Suicide Prevention and will be filming at this Conference. They are currently looking for Professionals in Brain Injury Research\, Veteran Service Organizations (VSO) who are committed to help Veterans\, and any early career professionals that want to help our Military & Veteran population! More information HERE. \nThe BIED Society presents their Fall 2024 Conference focusing on Veteran Suicide Prevention with a focus on TBI\, PTSD\, and Black Mold risk vectors to help develop policy and best practices in diagnosing and treating brain related injuries. Additionally\, they will be presenting and meeting on Foreign Service and Defense Innovation. Their programming supports these three tracks of Brain Injury Health Policy\, Foreign Service\, and Defense Innovation with speakers and open panels on Saturday and Sunday.  \nOn Friday the BIED Society will be gathering at the US Capitol to present to several members of Congress on the findings of their research in cooperation with several medical practitioners\, researchers\, and veterans. This will include a guided tour and many networking opportunities. Friday night will be a fun\, optional activity touring the city in a relaxed social setting. \n The Society will host their annual awards dinner at the Dulles Marriott on Saturday evening and a Veterans Suicide Prevention Fundraiser Gala. The Society looks forward to recognizing several deserving professionals who continue to excel and contribute to their respective fields.
