Removing Meritocracy from Schools

Progress and success come from hard work, not race and ethnicity.

Equal opportunity, not equal outcomes.

Removing meritocracy from public schools undermines fairness and opportunity. Student motivation declines, leading to lower academic performance.

Prioritizing equal outcomes lowers standards and discourages excellence, hindering preparation for a competitive world. Focusing solely on equal outcomes stifles innovation, motivation, and personal growth.

In January 2023, the Loudoun County BOS passed a resolution, “Social and Racial Equity as Fundamental Values,” that directs Loudoun County government to prioritize people’s skin color, nationality, and gender over ability.

YOUR VOICE MATTERS!

In April 2021, the Democrat-controlled Virginia Department of Education considered ending the Advanced Studies Diploma in the name of equity. Parents across the state loudly spoke out against it so it was discontinued.
