RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF EDUCATION SAVINGS ACCOUNT PROGRAM; EDUCATION IMPROVEMENT SCHOLARSHIPS TAX CREDITS

Whereas the Loudoun County Republican Committee adopted the Educational Excellence and Freedom Resolution on October 25, 2021,

Whereas we still believe parents are the first and primary educators of their children, and they are not morally or legally obligated to co-parent with the government;

Whereas every single child in Virginia deserves a quality education in a safe environment of their parents’ choosing, whether that is in public schools or alternative options;

Whereas we believe that fully-funded School Choice should be accessible to all Virginia students without government strings attached,

Now, therefore, be it Resolved that the Loudoun County Republican Committee supports House Bill 1396 – Education Savings Account Program established; Education Improvement Scholarships Tax Credits as it is currently introduced, and

Resolved, that the Chairman of the Loudoun County Republican Committee shall cause copies of this resolution to be disseminated to all Republican members of the Virginia General Assembly.
