About Ram Venkatachalam
Ram and his wife Seetha have two children who attend public elementary school. Ram immigrated to the United States from India bringing with him a B.A. in Computer Science Engineering and a Master's in Computer Science. He works as an IT consultant for Deloitte. Ram has a long history of community service as a Loudoun County election officer, Resident Vice President and Director of the Brambleton Homeowners Association, and appointment to the Loudoun County Transit Advisory in 2017. Ram was elected as chair of the Loudoun County Transit Advisory in 2020.
Ram brings a deep awareness of the challenges facing Loudoun as the county continues to grow. He believes common sense solutions to local issues should be the focus of the House of Delegates and not getting wrapped up in divisive social issues and national agendas. Ram’s values align with conservative principles. He wants to focus on lower taxes, economic opportunity, public safety, and quality public education for every child.
